- Wrap the necktie around your collar
- Creating an X-shape
- Fold the thick end through the loop from upside down
- Create a horizontal band across the knot’s
- Bring up the tick end
- Tuck the thick end tip down through the horizontal loop
- Sung the thick end down
- Adjust the tie
1- Wrap the necktie around your collar
Wrap the necktie all over your collar with the thick end on your left side and the joint outside. Choose the position where you want it to be finished, and set it about two inches lower for now.
2- Creating an X-shape
Creating an X-shape underneath your chin, cross the thick end beneath the thin end.
3- Fold the thick end through the loop from upside down
Flip the thick end up in front of the loop around your collar. Then fold it down through the loop around the collar, emerging to the left of the thin end.
4- Create a horizontal band across the knot’s
Horizontally bring the thick end tip across the knot’s front. Now as you have created a horizontal band across the knot’s front, slip a finger underneath that.
5- Bring up the tick end
Bring up the thick end tip and underneath the collar loop.
6- Tuck the thick end tip down through the horizontal loop
Through the horizontal loop that you have created in step 4, tuck the thick end tip down.
7- Sung the thick end down
Sung the thick end down by pulling it all the way through the horizontal loop.
8- Adjust the tie
Finally, adjust the tie by holding the knot with one hand and pulling on the narrow end with the other hand.
