- Drape the necktie around your collar
- Make an X-shape
- Flip the thin end over the top
- Make a horizontal band in front of the knot
- Tuck the thick end into the collar loop from behind
- Make a horizontal band behind the knot
- Tuck the thin end into the collar loop
- Slip the thin end through the horizontal behind the knot
- Sung the thin end uptight
- Flip the tie-down

1- Drape the necktie around your collar
Drape the necktie around your collar in such a way that the seam should be facing inward and the thick end of the tie should be on your right side. Also, the thick end should be half an inch lower than the final position of the tie after completion.
2- Make an X-shape
To form an X-shape, cross the thin end of the tie over the thick end. And flip the thin end of the tie upward to the collar loop.
3- Flip the thin end over the top
Flip the thin end coming from the collar loop to the left side of the knot. Bring the knot from left to the right making a horizontal band behind the knot.
4- Make a horizontal band in front of the knot
Bring the knot from right to the left making a horizontal band in front of the knot.
5- Tuck the thick end into the collar loop from behind
Flip the thin end up from behind the tie knot and tuck it into the collar loop. And flip it over the front of the knot so it hangs down.
6- Make a horizontal band behind the knot
Bring the thin to the left side and move it behind the knot. Continue moving from left to right, making a horizontal behind the knot. And then flip it upward to the collar loop.
7- Tuck the thin end into the collar loop
Tuck the thin end into the collar loop and emerge it to the left side from behind the knot.
8- Slip the thin end through the horizontal behind the knot
Flip the tick-up and forward and let it take a rest on any of your shoulders. Turn the tip of the thin end upward and slip it through the horizontal loop behind the knot.
9- Sung the thin end uptight
Pull the thin end all the way and snug it uptight.
10- Flip the tie-down
Flip both ends of the tie-down.
11- Final adjustment
Finally, adjust the tie by tightening the tie knot holding with one hand and pulling the thick end with the other hand.
