  1. Drape the necktie, around your collar
  2. Make an X-shape
  3. Bring the thick end on front
  4. Make a loop
  5. Make vertical loop
  6. Make a horizontal loop above the vertical loop
  7. Make a horizontal band
  8. Bring the vertical end upside down through the horizontal band
  9. Adjust the tie

With the seam facing upward, drape the necktie around your collar. Thick end should be on your left side and also should be 2-3 inches lower than the final tie position.

 

2- Make an X-shape

Making an X-shape beneath your chin, under the thin end horizontally cross the thick end.

Bring the thick end in front of the thin end, a crossing in horizontal position.

Continue to make a loop from left to right, by passing the thick end horizontally behind the thin end.

After making a loop flip the thick end up and over the front vertically. Then tuck the thick end back down behind the knot.

Bring the thick end out from right side of it and fold to the left of the thick end.

From left to right, bring the thick end across the front of the knot, making a horizontal band. Slip your finger through it.

Now bring the thick end up through the collar loop and tuck it down through the horizontal band you have just created.
