Cleaning a bong is important for maintaining its function and keeping it hygienic. Here are some steps to follow to clean a bong:

Materials:

  • Cleaning solution (isopropyl alcohol and salt or specialized bong cleaning solution)
  • Warm water
  • Paper towels or a clean towel
  • Pipe cleaners or cotton swabs (optional)

Steps:

  1. Disassemble the bong: Remove the bowl, downstem, and any other removable parts from the bong.
  2. Rinse the pieces: Rinse the pieces with warm water to remove any loose debris.
  3. Add cleaning solution: Fill the base of the bong with the cleaning solution. You can use a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and salt or a specialized bong cleaning solution. If using isopropyl alcohol and salt, use a ratio of 1:1.
  4. Soak the pieces: Add the removable parts to the cleaning solution and let them soak for 30 minutes to an hour.
  5. Shake the pieces: After soaking, remove the pieces from the cleaning solution and shake them vigorously to dislodge any remaining debris.
  6. Rinse the pieces: Rinse the pieces thoroughly with warm water to remove any cleaning solution.
  7. Dry the pieces: Use paper towels or a clean towel to dry the pieces completely.
  8. Reassemble the bong: Put the pieces back together and you are ready to use your clean bong.

Optional Step: If there are any hard-to-reach areas, you can use pipe cleaners or cotton swabs dipped in the cleaning solution to clean them.

Note: Be sure to read the instructions on any specialized bong cleaning solution you use and follow the manufacturer’s recommended cleaning process.
