In this guide, we will discuss various methods of turning off your Apple Watch. Whether you’re looking to save battery life, troubleshoot a problem, or simply take a break from the device, it’s important to know how to properly turn off your watch. We will walk you through the process step-by-step, covering different ways to turn off the watch depending on the model and your preferences. So, whether you’re a first-time Apple Watch user or a seasoned pro, this guide will help you turn off your watch with ease.

There are a few different ways to turn off an Apple Watch, depending on the model and your preferences. Here are a few methods:

  1. Press and hold the side button (also known as the “power button”) until the Power Off slider appears on the screen. Then, drag the slider to turn off the watch.
  2. If your Apple Watch has a Force Touch sensor, you can also press and hold the side button, then quickly press and release the Digital Crown. This will bring up the Power Off slider, which you can then use to turn off the watch.
  3. If your watch is unresponsive, you can force restart it by pressing and holding the side button and Digital Crown together for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Note: If you’re not able to use the above methods, you can also unpair your Apple Watch from your iPhone, which will also turn it off.

It’s important to note that when you turn off an Apple Watch, all data and settings are saved and the device will start up again in the same condition when it’s turned back on.
